2009 will bring about some changes to my blogging life. I will no longer host weekly giveaways. They are fun but timeeeeee consuming to say the least. I will occasionally have a giveaway here and there so don't be too sad.
I want to write posts that you want to read. So help me out here. Every week I plan my family's weekly meals and would like to share with you the ONE recipe that you really want to learn how to make not the 15 recipes that you could care less about. Damaris, first of all, I will miss your giveaways. I never won anything, but it was nice for you to connect us to the etsy world and the creativity that is out there. Second of all, HELLO, you never post recipes that we couldn't care less about. Even if the recipe was new, or if I had never heard of it, people who are like us and into the world of food and flavor LOVE to discover new ideas and new cuisine. I have yet to come across a recipe on your blog that I thought was a big fat waste of my time. Don't underestimate the value of your contributions. We read for much more than the giveaways. And who knows? Maybe you'll come up with a really great idea for 2009; a theme to tie the year together without the use of giveaways! xoxo (my Brazilian sister reads this "sho-sho")

ReplyDeleteIt's difficult to prepare something that *everyone* will like, so I'm sure you'll get votes all over the board. The pork loin (with bacon!) sounds great to me!

ReplyDeleteI voted for the pork loin too. And I agree, all of the recipes I have loved! Even if I've never tried them before. I love the different ingredients and style. PLEASE don't stop posting them!! Adding in dinner ideas is good too!
