I haven't read anything as positive and informative about kiddies and kitchen in a long time. The article 6 ways to Thrive in the Kitchen With the Kids is all that. Wait, have you really never checked out the Simple Mom blog? It's fabulous to the core.
What fabulous tips. I was just having this discussion with mike, it has been so frustrating getting the kids to let me cook. With a little prep and a little more patience I feel ready to give that a try. Thank you!

Asi helped me make soup the other day, and it was amazing to see his eyes light up at the fact that HE made the soup, and that he was doing a job that only mom usually does. The sense of accomplishment was worth way more that the usual toy play/video-so-mom-can-cook time. I love this post.
