I've been appreciating all the different Instagram tributes to Steve Jobs that are flowing into my feed this morning. What a great man. What a great loss. So many parts of my life is made better because of his genius output and the products that he envisioned and created.

My life is intricately connected to Apple products. I read my scriptures on my iPod touch, Listen to music as I work out, audio books when I'm traveling somewhere, take photos on my iPod, look at pictures on Instagram and immediately feel connected to my friends that I left behind in Santa Cruz California. Yesterday a friend posted a picture of a Rainbow, today her children were playing in puddles. I'm thankful she took the time to snap a shot on her iPhone so I could marvel at how much her beautiful son had grown in the few months I've been gone.

I blog on an Apple computer. I read magazines, blogs, and look up recipes on my iPad while I cook. I use iTunes on a daily basis. My kids watch all their shows on the iPad.

No doubt Steve Jobs' impecable sense of good design helped make my life a little more beautiful. For that I am thankful.
