Weekend Wrap-Up

posted on: Friday, October 7, 2011

Have you seen this New York Times Magazine article. I've seen it more than once. I love it so much. Things like this inspire me to go out and document something new. Things like this make me happy that I have a degree in Social Documentation. I'm so thankful for people who document important things, like dinner.

I'm also thankful for these posts that inspired me this week

// The Fall slideshow curated on Kirtsy made me want to desperately have a picnic.
// Check out the cute food designs on these children's books. My goal for the rest of the year is to learn how to use Adobe Illustrator.
// I do love sporks. Can you tell by my header? These bunting sporks are just darling, I want to use them for my upcoming picnic :)
// I'm not a huge fan of sandwiches but I would have this soft pretzel egg sandwich in a second.
// There are some mommy blogs that I love, Cakies is one of them. Her post about burgers and chocolate chip cookies / making dinner while trying to take care of 4 small children, made me smile.

And in case you missed it here is what went down this week at Kitchen Corners

// Earlier today I posted a giveaway to a sweet kids apron, one I would personally wear.
// My tribute to the creative genius, Steve Jobs, who has made my life a little more beautiful.
// Pumpkin decorating ideas I would love to try out.
// A recipe for watermelon-cucumber popsicles.
// A welcoming Fall dinner that I spotted on a Subtle Revelry

Any posts you'd like to share? Feel free to leave a link in the comments section.
I'll be sure to check them out.

Have a happy and safe weekend.
xoxo
