Waste Not Saks Giveaway

One woman with two kids and a career as a pediatrician sets out to green the planet
one reusable sandwich and snack bag at a time


Actually it's close to 8000 reusable sandwich and snack bags in just over a year of production.
Waste Not Saks is a hit and one of you will win a reusable bag of your choice.



Visit the shop and come back here telling me which baggie is your favorite by next Thursday September 16.

For extra entries tell me one way  you're successful at reducing waste when packing lunch. I'm thirsty for ideas on ways to green up my kitchen practices. And for even more chances you can leave an extra comment for all the extra things you do like follow this blog, like Kitchen Corners on facebook, follow me on twitter, tweet this giveaway, facebook this giveaway, and all that good stuff.

    I use tupperwear a lot when packing lunches. If I do use zip-lock baggies, I wash them and re-use a few times before tossing. I don't have any bags like this but would love to try them. They look great!

    Oh, and for an extra entry... I use ziplocks sometimes when I have really wet snacks, but I wash them and reuse them about four times before I toss them out, because a good brand can really endure a few uses.

    i have already won one of your giveaway, but i have to participate in this one, too - my favorite way of reducing waste will be using my new lunchbag :) and the baggie i love most is the mushroom snack pack, it's so so lovely!

    I bring 2 LunchBots to school. They are stainless steel containers. I pack my sandwich in so one so it doesn't get squished and a cooked sweet potato in the other. I'd love to add these little baggies to the mix because I am at school from 8am-8pm during the week.

    I would LOVE to have one of these Saks! The mushroom garden pattern is my favorite.

    As way of reducing waste, I use small containers to pack snacks. No plastic baggies needed! But a Sak would be much more fun to use. ;)

    Ooh. The lime full moon polka dot bag is fabulous. Or the Blue 2D Zoo. Or the Green Buds. So many ways to pack my husband's lunch. Thanks for pointing me in this shop's direction!

    I love LOVE LOVE the Green Buds sandwich bags. We use plastic containers for lunchs instead of zip lock bags. Any leftovers from lunch and dinner - our doggie enjoys them!

    I save on plastic bags by using a lunchbox with removable sections, it's divided into quarters. It stops my lunch from being bashed around, but you don't need any wrap or bags.
