Scholastic Storybook Treasures are our fave and their new Halloween Stories Collection is the perfect treat for this time of year. Are you familiar with Scholastic Storybook Treasures DVDs? I found out about them a little over a year ago and am completely in love with their work. They use all the illustrations and turn classic children's books into animation. It's fun watching the movies then going to the library and finding our favorite stories.

Today I'm giving away two sets of the Halloween Stories Collection to get you in the mood for Halloween. Each set comes with 18 not-so-scary stories in a 3 DVD collection. Last year we showed the Very Brave Witch DVD in our Halloween party and it was a hit. Now we watch a Very Brave Witch at least once a month, for funsies.

Wow, you are one very energetic mama! I've spent a bit of time looking through both your blogs and am amazed at how much you write, even while teaching and staying home with your two kids. You have a beautiful family and I enjoyed both your blogs. I, too, have similar beliefs regarding bilingualism (I speak three languages, but only two of them fluently. These are skills I definitely would love to pass on to my kids and I'm trying hard to make it happen.
