The topic of school lunch is something I care about a lot. One of the panels I went to at this year's BlogHer conference in San Diego was about school lunch. It was great. Mrs Q, the teacher who ate school lunch everyday for a year was there along with some other brilliant minds. Also, if you're interested in the topic of school lunch then I need to recommend Lunch Wars. There was only one book I I brought with me to Brazil and Lunch Wars was it. The book highlights important topics like how school lunch interferes with learning, what the new Federal School Food Guideline means for lunchrooms across the country, and the truth behind common school food myths.
